Pals Paper Arts Best Dressed List 2011

 

It's the end of the year, and what better way to celebrate at Pals Paper Arts than announcing the Best Dressed List of 2011.  Each member of the design team chose their favorite winners for a specific month (some chose for two months, I was one who did.)  I'm thrilled to share my choices for 2011.  Be sure to head on over to Pals Paper Arts to check out the choices for each month.  And from all of us on the PPA DT, you are all winners!!

 

 

 

I love a 3D project, and this offering from Meg McGarry, submitted in March, is a perfect example of why I love them.  This adorable tea holder is loaded with details, from the gorgeous flower on the top to the lovely pearls on the side.  And her fun, creative use of the challenge colors on a fun and creative project just might inspire me to start drinking tea (and I'm a die-hard Starbucks coffee girl!!)  

 

 

This card by Susie Whittwer, submitted in December, makes me very happy!!  I just can't get enough of the design, the gorgeous details, and the fun sparkliness!! I love the simplicity of the colors that are so incredibly lovely together, and the complexity of the details that have com bine to put this card at the top of my CASE list!!  GORGEOUS!!

Can you believe that in just two more days Santa will be coming down your chimney?  Are you ready?  In an effort to finish everything, I thought I'd make some quick Christmas tags for the latest Pals Paper Arts challenge.  You can make any kind of tag that you want.  It can be a stand alone tag, or part of your project.  And it can be whatever you're calling a tag.  I'm looking forward to seeing what you're inspired to create!!

PPA124-A Sassy Sketch Challenge

 

Over at Pals Paper Arts it's time for another sassy sketch challenge, featuring a sketch by the fabulous (and yes, sassy!!) Margaret Moody.  And it's a "sassy" challenge, simply because I wanted to use the word "sassy!!"

This is the gorgeous sketch that we have from which to draw our inspiration. 

I had fun making my card this week, I've decided that I could be happy making Christmas cards all year long.  I'm excited to see what the sketch inspires you to create.  And be looking for Christmas cards from me at random times throughout 2012.  'Cause I'm sassy like that!!

 

 

PPA123-Ritzy Blog Candy

 

Mmm, I just said "candy"!!  This week Pals Paper Arts is having a Blog Candy Blowout- one lucky participant will be showered with blog candy from each member of the Design Team!!  Be sure to play along with us and you could be that lucky winner!! 

This week's PPA challenge is Puttin' on the Ritz--all about dressing up your paper crafting project.  For me, black card stock and shiny, glittery silver paper make the perfect combination for a Congratulations card for my precious friends Megan and Hatim, who just welcomed their gorgeous baby girl Alia into the world.  I got to meet her and hold her this weekend, and had a hard time giving her back!! Congratulations Megan and Hatim, and big brother Liam!!
