Yay for Pals Paper Arts on Thursdays!! I just love all of the inspiration and creativity. I never know what I'm going to come up with, but it's always fun getting there!!
For this Simple Sketch Challenge, (sketch courtesy of the amazing Margaret Moody) I knew that I wanted to use Stampin' Up!'s In Colors. I haven't used them much, and this turned out to be a great opportunity to showcase them.
One of the things I'm learning as I continue to create is that open spaces are OK. I thought for a long time about what I could put in the upper left of the card. After looking at it for awhile, I realized that it was lovely just the way it is. Embellishments are always fabulous, but also give yourself permission to leave open spaces.
Tip: I cut a piece of the Rich Razzleberry ribbon in half, length-wise, and threaded it through some of the fabulous Hodgepodge Hardware. I just have to say that these are some of the best embellishments you can invest in, and certainly have made it to my list of top favorites. (The Big Shot, of course, still being #1 in my heart!!)
Please let me know what you think, I'd love to hear from you. And I'm looking forward to seeing what you create!!

I think your card is pretty just like it is! I have that problem too! Not just in cards but like in my house! Which is one of my resolutions in 2010! So, I have been decluttering since 1-1-10! It is a hard to get use to but I'm working on it! So, thank you for reminding me that I am not the only one who has the open spaces syndrome! LOL!
