If it's Thursday, it must be time for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge!!
This week's challenge is a theme challenge, and the theme is Winter Wonderland. What could be more appropriate?
By now you probably know that my favorite Stampin' Up! tool is the Big Shot. Well, my new favorite discovery is Whisper White Craft Ink. It almost has a paint-like feeling when you're putting the stamp on the pad, but it leaves a beautiful, clean image when you stamp. And I love how it gives a wintry feel when paired with winter-themed stamps and images.
I also love the effect of same-color ink on same-color card stock. It gives a subtlety to the background, allowing you to create your own designer paper!! Using Real Red Classic Ink, I used the star stamp from the Christmas Punch stamp set. I then stamped the image from the Patterned Pines stamp set twice, once on Real Red card stock and once on Garden Green card stock, both times using Whisper White Craft Ink. I cut out the middle tree from the Garden Green card stock (using my fabulous, must-have Paper Snips) and used a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere it to the Real Red image. It gives it a great pop of color and dimension. The image is then adhered to a frame of Whisper White card stock, and centered on the card front.
The "snowflakes" are stamped with Whisper White Craft Ink on Real Red card stock, and punched out using the always-versatile Boho Blossoms Punch. Put them wherever you would like "snow", using Stampin' Dimensionals.
On the inside I added a piece of Whisper White card stock, slightly smaller than the 5x7 card size. This not only gives a brighter place to write your personalized message, it also provides a lovely contrast to the corner flower design from the Patterned Pines stamp set, stamped in Garden Green Classic Ink. A simple, yet fabulous finishing touch.
I would love to hear from you, please feel free to leave a comment at the end. I'm looking forward to seeing YOUR Winter Wonderland creations!!

Everything about your card--inside and out is so very pretty, Debbie, and I couldn't agree more about the Craft Whisper White ink and your use of color on color. And Patterned Pines is one of my favorite stamp sets, too!
